There is a party going on in this chapter. Many have come all they way and all have a big diner , with preformances and kids staying up enjoying themselves. Mdm. Ratignolle plays the piano because she can’t dance.Before she does so the” Farival twins…play the piano…a duet from”Zampa”..followed it with the overture to “the poet ad the Peasant'”(Chopin,pg. 41). The parrot gives his imput about how boarding it is but quickly becomes quiet out of fear.
