Edna starts to quickly pack all the things she is going to take from the big house and move into the “pigeon-house ” as ellen calls it. Edna is so eager to get out of the mansion that she has all this guilt and being there is a reminder of it only making it bigger. Arobin comes after the past night events. Seeing Edna working and in a not so classy outfit doesn’t make the attraction Arobin has for her doesn’t dwindle. He asks for a glass of water just to have some privacy with Edna.
He is so persistent on spending more alone time and she doesn’t comply. She is getting ready to go into this new life, to have Robert be back and be free. She is completely ready for the party she is going to host and be out of the house.
